Can I assign a static IP address to a Linux virtual machine running under Parallels Desktop Lite?

0

I know how to do this with a bridged network interface, but there is none in Parallels Desktop Lite.

My problem is that I own a regular version of Parallels Desktop that runs on my desktop (iMac). But sometimes I need the same VM on my MacBook Pro, but I don't have a second license of Parallels Desktop. So I installed Parallels Desktop Lite on my MBP because this can may used to run Linux for free.

But every time I copy the VM to the MBP and start the VM there it gets a totally different IP from Parallels. To avoid this I'd like to assign a static to this VM that I can use on my desktop and my notebook.

I'd be happy for any idea.

Greetings and thank you
Thomas
