Avoiding Windows Security Popup When Calling IE from the Command Line

0

On a system for automated test that is configured to company standards when I open IExplorer using "%ProgramFiles%/Internet Explorer/iexplore.exe"

I get a Windows Security popup.
enter image description here

The subsequent tests now fail.

I tried adding credentials using cmdkey. I tried calling iexplorer.exe with an url that has embeded username and password.

I am pretty sure that this is related to the internet explorer security settings which I can not change.

How can I open an IExplorer using the command line and provide the credentials somehow so that this popup does not show.

Ultimately this call will be embedded into a Jenkinsfile with credentials resolved through the Jenkins credentials store.
