Router (hub) blocking traffic from my Netgear wifi Extender

0

This is a question from the UK so may have more relevance to those who understand BT smart hubs.

I have this product: https://www.netgear.co.uk/home/products/networking/wifi-range-extenders/EX7000.aspx

And my main router is: http://home.bt.com/tech-gadgets/internet/broadband/bt-smart-hub-6-router-wifi-11364068260249

When I connected the two using WPS, I could initially see both the BTHub6-XXXX-2GEXT and BTHub6-XXXX-5GEXT as options from my Windows machine. I could connect to both and then use the internet no issues. However, the Smart hub now seems to be blocking communication to the Extender.

The BT Hub management page looks like this:

enter image description here

And then beneath this, it shows connected devices from which I can drill down into the Extender:

enter image description here

The firmware for the extender was updated to the latest yesterday and I can connect to both 2GEXT and 5GEXT but when I do so, I can't get any webpage up.

So, the BT Hub (Router) is blocking the traffic somehow. I'm sure there must be some kind of 'trusted IP address' setting I can use to allow this to work?

I'm hoping someone from the UK has experienced similar issues as it's kind of specific to the BT Router.

Thanks
