VLCKit Screen capture on mac

0

I am trying to use VLCKit to capture my mac screen but I have no clue how to do it. currently I tried to use

VLCMedia * media = [VLCMedia mediaWithURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"screen://"]];
NSDictionary * option = @{ @"screen-fps":@5, @"screen-caching" : @300,};

VLCVideoView * videoView = [[VLCVideoView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(0, 0, 500, 500)];
[self.view addSubview:videoView];
[videoView setAutoresizingMask: NSViewHeightSizable|NSViewWidthSizable];

player = [[VLCMediaPlayer alloc]initWithVideoView:videoView];

[player setMedia:media];

[player play];

It shows a black screen. I have no idea how to give the mediaOptions to make it work.
