Bluetooth dongle as a repeater?

0

Is there such a thing as a bluetooth repeater?

I have a google Pixel 3 and just got a new car - Land Rover Discovery Sport. It turns out that the head unit doesn't support my phone so I can use it for media but not calls. When I try it just drops the connection. I've been in touch with Google and Land Rover and they agree it is a compatibility issue but won't help me with a solution.

So as a workaround I was wondering if I could use an old phone as a repeater? Or maybe use a bluetooth dongle to repay the signal? Is that even possible?

  • No, not possible. And my condolences on your purchase.
