typescript react context types

0

i can't find the correct way to define types for React.Context
In my component i have props like this:

  export interface AutocompleteProps<OptionValueType> {
options: OptionsArray<OptionValueType>;
value: Option<OptionValueType>;
getRef?: (el: HTMLDivElement) => void;
isOpen?: boolean;
isLoading?: boolean;
inputValue?: string;
onFocus?: () => void;
onBlur?: () => void;
onInputChange?: (inputValue?: string) => void;
onChange?: OnChangeHandler<OptionValueType>;
valueRenderer?: ValueRenderer<OptionValueType>;
optionGroupRenderer?: OptionGroupRenderer<OptionValueType>;
optionRenderer?: OptionRenderer<OptionValueType>;
inputProps?: React.InputHTMLAttributes<HTMLInputElement>;
}

Can you explain how i can implement receiving all of this props via context rather than props but with type checking ?
Thanks.

  • i was try to create context like this, but typescript marks <OptionValueType> as error :( const AutocompleteContext = React.createContext({} as AutocompleteProps<OptionValueType>);
