PWA and Google Auth pop-up on iOS

0

I've added Firebase Google Auth to my PWA and I encountered the next behavior on my iPhone with it:

When I open the PWA and then try to use Google authorization it's not opening a Google pop-up window it's opening a page on Safari and then just working on Safari but not as PWA.

Is there any way to open just the auth pop-up not a Safari page?

  • AFAIK, this is a known issue with firebase auth. You can try looking at this both reported issue in their GitHub: #139 and #77.
