Ever knew or Ever known
Could you please explain the difference between the two?
Exhale your will and forget I ever knew you or I’ve ever known you
I suppose 'I ever knew' refers to a specific point in the past, whereas 'I have ever known' implies that the action is also connected with the present.
tenses past-perfect simple-past
