Setting up a public static IP address for my authoritative DNS server to resell domains [closed]
I want to start reselling domain names (ccTLD) and to be able to become an authorized reseller for .MA domains I am required to have my own DNS server (according to ANRT-The regulatory agency for .MA domains). I bought an IBM workstation and bought a public static IP from my ISP. I am still confused on how to set up the static IP on my router and how to do port forwarding as I am new to the Huawei routers configuration panel. Also, when I set up a local static IP on /etc/network/interfaces the ethernet connection stops working. And finally, when I install net-tools the ethernet connection stops working. Please help me and thank you.
PS: I am using PowerDNS on ubuntu 18 LTS; and my router is Huawei B612s-25d
Edit: To avoid any confusion, I have the server on our office, not home. We already have 2 nameservers in the US but in Morocco we are required to have at least a third nameserver dedicated to reselling the Moroccan ccTLD. We don't have any choices in Morocco but to host the DNS ourselves.

Are you sure you only need 1 nameserver? Really, you should not be setting up this kind of infrastructure on your home system - why not use some low end cloud hosted BMs which will be more reliable and not have routing issues?

You may find that your ISP dynamically assigns your IP address, but if not, you really need to solve this with them, not here.

As worded, I think this post is out of scope because it is looking for support of a commercial activity and shows a massive disconnect between ability and requirement. It may be more appropriate if you edit your request to focus on running a nameserver rather then advising the why and wherefor of your business requirement.

To reiterate @davidgo's comments... I think you have a lot of learning to do before you should even contemplate "reselling domain names"... If you're providing a service like this, then you need to know what you're doing - don't play / experiment / learn with other people's domains.
