I know that in the writing task 2 i have to write minimum 250 words but surely I don’t know how many words are allowed to write maximum

If you write you write Task 1 in 15 minutes, you'll have no more than 45 minutes (max) to plan, write, re-read, and check the essay in Task 2, which carries the most marks. If you write more than 500 words, you're doing something wrong.

No. It's about an English exam and the word count for the writing task 2. I have also answered your question, there's a time limit which will restrict the number of words you can write. An essay that contains 350 words in 40/5 minutes is feasibly possible. More than that, you won't have enough time to proofread it. Try to write a 400-word essay in about 40 minutes if you don't believe me.
