Changing mySQL password error

0

I've been trying to change MySQL password on Windows. I stoped the mySQL from services. I wrote a text file with the following command:

USE mysql;
UPDATE mysql.user SET Password=PASSWORD('pass')WHERE user=root;
FLUSH PRIVELEGES;

and placed it in C:. I opened cmd and wrote the following:

cd C:Program FilesMySQLMySQL Server 8.0bin

then

mysqld --defaults-file"C:\ProgramData\MySQL\MySQL Server 8.0\my.ini" --init-file=C:password

I get the following error:
