Using files from host computer on KVM in Centos
So I am trying to install a media server. My goal is to have the host computer and 2 separate VMs installed, one for my Media and the other eventually a web server. I am stuck though trying to figure out how to have my VM read the files I have on my host storage. As a side note I am using LVM on my host, and the KVM is installed on the base storage not the LVM.
How would I get my VM to read my host files? My thoughts were making an qemu image and having that be read by the VM. Though not sure how exactly.
Forgive me, but I am not exactly new to Linux but still am. Actually training for the RHCSA now but figuring out there is vast more to know than just that exam. Thanks for the help.
