"The hold of the nationalist imagination on our colonial past is such that anything inadequately or improperly nationalist is just not history."

Which of the following statements best reflects the author's opinion?

(A)Nationalists are highly imaginative.

(B)History is viewed through the filter of nationalism.

(C)Our colonial past never happened.

(D)Nationalism has to be both adequately and properly imagined.

Option A is clearly invalid because Author has not talked about Nationalists.

(C) is also invalid.

I am confused to choose between B and D.

But I feel B is more stronger because inadequate nationalist is not history and Author has not talked about how to define Nationalism or how Nationalism is properly imagined.

Please guide.

PS:I am very poor at english. So, please correct me anywhere I make mistake.
