Azure cloud service tcp listener timeout

0

I'm using Azure Cloud Service (classic) and Worker Role running TCP listener.
TCP clients periodically send messages to Server (TCP listener) and messages are coming every X minutes on server.
There is a separate task sending periodic messages to TCP clients in intervals Y seconds.

Everything works in "downlink" (sending messages to tcp clients) if sending intervals of Y seconds is lower than 20-30sec, if sending interval is higher (1-2min) it is not sending / working!

Note: uplink messages are coming in intervals every 3-4 minutes and connections are not being dropped. Interval less than 30 sec is battery consuming for devices that run tcp client.
How to fix this, is it normal Azure behavior?
