It would be better to do the modification when the salesforce csv is
created.
Is there something wrong with this sentence? If yes, could you please point out the same?
Thanks in advance.

Grammatically, it seems fine. However, as a (hint for) a specification, it is ambiguous. Do you want to do a modification in the process of creating the csv or do you want to modify the csv after it has been created?

Then, "during the creation of the csv" would convey that intent a lot better, I think.

Minor quibble. Modification works better with stative or durative verbs. Doing is dynamic or punctual. So it sounds a bit clunky to "do a modification" (except for "doing a loan modification", which is idiomatic). I'd probably switch to a more durative verb like incorporate. You can express an inchoative aspect (the onset of a state) with past tense, but generally not with simple present tense. You can also use passive constructions to get there. It would be better to have the modification incorporated while the salesforce csv is (being) created.
