Cant type into input element on mobile (vue, leaflet)

On mobile devices, tested in safari and chrome on ios, (it works on android phones) the input element cannot be selected or typed into. I added an input element outside the vue app and that one works fine. Its not a screen size thing either. in the chrome dev tools, selected the iphone size still allows inputing into the element. Here are the files in question. Map.vue and IslandList.vue
