how to group a files to a new folder by its first 5 charactors name on Mac OSX

i have a ton of picture which its has a first 5 char the same like



12345 first.jpg
12345 second.jpg
12345 third.jpg
12345 forth.jpg
12345 fifth.jpg



and i want to group this five into a new folder and name it as "12345" folder
but i got a ton of this file list in a single folder
any suggestion on Automator workflow command
