How to stop favorites from being auto-filled in suggestion bar in Chrome?

0

I have some things bookmarked in Chrome which I would never in a million years want to come up on the screen during a work meeting when my laptop is connected to the group screen, and Chrome horrifyingly auto-suggests them (even in incognito tabs) whenever I begin to type a URL that starts with the same letter.

I know I could sign out of Chrome, but that's not very convenient at all and I'm searching for alternative answers.

Is there any way to stop this behavior short of using a different browser?

  • The workaround is don't store personal bookmarks on a work laptop.
