Which should I use Past Simple or Present Perfect?

0

I've been wondering which tense should I use when I talk with my friends or with someone.

Because in many films and videos I see that characters uses Past Simple even when they see the results for example : I've destroyed this windows (result : the window is broken), I destroyed the window (well it's destroyed)
