msi pe60 7rd keyboard issues

I accidentally had water damage on my laptop from the rain. i let it dry but i still had issues with certain keys, namely [r], [backspace], [c], [f]. I went to a local repair shop to have the keyboard replaced, and for a short time it was working but then the same issue appeared.

Sometimes when I had a key pressed down before i entered the not working key it would work. For example, if i held down the [down arrow], and pressed [f] it would work, but only sometimes and less and less so I find.

I read online this happens alot with msi, but I did have water damage too, so I am not sure what to do. i cant afford another replacement/repair and its hard to use the on screen windows keyboard.

i tried uninstalling keyboard drivers, resetting the EC, should I / could i take it apart myself and fix it somehow?
