A URL originally had a movie playing. However, it's now inaccessible. However I have done all of the following before it was taken down:
(1) Saved the page source of the URL using a browser. It's an HTML file now.
(2) Saved a web archive of the content of the URL using a browser.
(3) Downloaded the movie using youtube-dl using the following:
youtube-dl [URL] --youtube-include-dash-manifest --write-info-json --write-pages
So I have (A) a copy of the movie, (B) the intermediate files eg. .mpd files, and (C) a JSON file of the metadata.
If the URLs provided in the .mpd files are still working, can I use youtube-dl to download the movie again (say if I have lost the movie file I have downloaded)?
FYI I am not downloading from a Youtube URL. But from video.toggle.sg. An example of a URL from this domain is:
https://video.toggle.sg/en/video/series/swimming-buenos-aires-2018-youth-olympic-games/ep6/641423
