I have an ASUS 1060 GTX i7-7700 laptop and I am looking into purchasing a Dell 1440p 165hz Monitor. My ASUS laptop only supports a Mini DisplayPort and I want to utilize G-sync on the monitor using the DisplayPort.
Would I be able to reach 144hz using this Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort with a 1440p monitor?

Are you looking to support 2K@144 Hz or 4K@144 Hz? The specifications of the able indicate that 2K@144 Hz is supported. Your question is not clear, all hardware specifications indicate what you want is possible, so what are you trying to confirm exactly?
