How to store videos locally (not in camera roll) in React Native?

I want to be able to store videos locally on an iOS device without it being available on the camera roll.
I've looked at two methods of storing information so far, but they both seem to not work for this use case:

AsyncStorage: this seems to store values in string format, which I'm not sure I can use to store an entire video (can be any length).

https://github.com/joltup/rn-fetch-blob/wiki/File-System-Access-API#cpsrcstring-deststringpromise: gives me an error when trying to copy a video from the camera roll into a custom path

Is there a way to do this in React Native for iOS devices?
