Mail Merging Images - Formatting

I'm trying to merge images into a word document using a directory of .jpg files with the image paths listed in a column of the excel spreadsheet I am using to merge other data in the word document.



Unfortunately - although the merge manages to successfully retrieve the photo from the image path, the formatting of the image seems to get a bit messed up and I can't see how to rectify it.



Setup:



Here is my setup of the document



Expectation:
Here is what I would like to happen



Actual result:
Here is what actually happens
