Target older versions of Android with Cordova (Ionic)
I have an app using Ionic + Cordova which needs to support Android API 16 and above. I installed cordova platform 6.4.0 for that.
However, when I try to run it on an API 19 emulator, it shows a blank screen and has the following errors:
I/dalvikvm: Could not find method android.app.Activity.checkSelfPermission, referenced from method org.apache.cordova.CordovaInterfaceImpl.hasPermission
VFY: unable to resolve virtual method 24: Landroid/app/Activity;.checkSelfPermission (Ljava/lang/String;)
...
Could not find method android.webkit.CookieManager.setAcceptThirdPartyCookies, referenced from method org.apache.cordova.engine.SystemCookieManager.<init>
I assume the plugins check for permissions for the plugins, but it doesn't differentiate between Android 6.0 and lower?
And what is the second error with the cookies?
