VS2012 TFS build definition
In our organization we are using VS2012 to trigger build(Manual trigger) for deployment activities against Sql server 2012 and it is working as expected.
Recently we are planning to migrate to Sql server 2016 and we restored a database and tried to trigger manual build against db restored in 2016 Sql server and we observed the error " *** Could not generate deployment script.
Unable to connect to target server."
the only changes we did in MSBuild Argument field was to update the ip address of new server.
the password works fine, also am able to connect to database with same username and password (sa login). is there any dependency missing? need help.
