Django randomly giving Access Denied for MySQL

0

I have a Django app which is reading a MySQL database and serving that data in a template rendered by Django.

I am getting the following error sometimes randomly:
1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'x.x.x.x' (using password: YES)

My django url is /getdata. I hit it and it works fine, fetches the data and renders the template perfectly. Now, I hit refresh and I get the above mentioned access denied error.

Now again, if I refresh the page, the error disappears and the page is rendered just fine.

If I refresh the page 10 times, then I am getting this error 3 out of 10 times.

And after a while, the django server just crashes, leaving nothing in the logs.

I am running the MySQL server in a docker container with 3306 and 33060 exposed. My Django server is also running in a separate docker container.

When the django server crashes, it's container stops leaving the following in the docker deamon logs :

Jan 24 10:24:11 x.x.x.x dockerd[7408]: time="2019-01-24T10:24:11-08:00" level=info msg="shim reaped" id=6512d0b483768c839770c684bd477780d360bce5fd5894e6e49f77da9b6b70eb

I need some recommendations for debugging.
