VSCode generates Icon file

0

Every time I start a project in VSCode, either just on my machine or by cloning a repository, VSCode generates this Icon file. It only happens when I work on my mac, so even if I start a project on my windows setup, then work on it later on my mac, the file will appear then cause complications. I've been getting through with a .gitignore, but I'd like to just prevent it from the start if possible.
