I'm trying to implement the efs in windows domain environment and I'm trying to applay the following scenario :

I encrypted file on a client machine (the file is located on C: partition ).
Now on the dc (Domain Controller) i tried to access the partition using the following UNC:

\client_Ip_Addressc$

and i got access to the partition , now when i try to access the file i get access is denied !

Later, I exported the private key from the client machine and imported it on dc ,but still no luck !

Note : When i switch the user on client machine and use the private key all fine and got access to the content of the file , but when try the same thing remotely from the DC i got access is denied .

so what I'm missing in here ?

Kind Regards
