SAPUI5 How to use remote odata Service

0

I am learning the Course SAPUI5, Week 2, Unit 1: USING A REMOTE SERVICE WITH AGGREGATION BINDING

In this unit it shows how to use the oDATA Service to use the sap database, but what happens, I am not using the tool SAP HCP Cockpit of the tutorial. I am using the Hana Web IDE. In the tutorial, teach how to do it with SAP HCP Cockpit, adding DESTINATION TO BACKEND SYSTEM ES5 which I do not have the tool I use.

Datasource from tutorial: https://sapes5.sapdevcenter.com/sap/opu/odata/IWBEP/GWSAMPLE_BASIC/$metadata

  • My dataSource - mydomain:50000/b1s/v1/$metadata

  • My Hana Ide Editor - mydomain:4300/sap/hana/ide/editor/

What I want to know is how I use my own data source that is hosted on my own Hana server with a different port than the editor.

The Code of the tutorial unit:

  • "/destinations" does not exist in your project. 1. You could use the trial webIDE and Cloud Connector account.hanatrial.ondemand.com 2. Or you have to enter your destintion with "mydomain:50000/b1s/v1"
