USB files “not found”

0

I am on a VM with Alpine Linux (the host is Win7)

I am new to this so please excuse my faults.

I have managed to mount a USB drive and see and access its files from within Linux, but when I try to execute some .sh scripts it says "script.sh -not found"

It's driving me crazy! I can see the file list with ls command, I can edit files in nano but I cant "directly" access files??

Any help??

  • You need to give the full path to the scripts, or add the scripts' directory to the PATH variable. Also, make sure you have execute access to each script.

How are you trying to run the script? Also, what are its permissions? Try running it with sh script.sh.
