I am currently working on an App for integrating TVHeadend into Live Channels on Android TV. I have had reasonably good success and currently have live tv, epg and limited DVR functionality implemented.

While integrating the DVR element, there is a use case where the central TVHeadend server has a recording scheduled for some time in the future.

So during the EPG/DVR Sync I would like to populate this information. I am trying to figure out how to add upcoming recordings from TVHeadend into the Live Channels DB. I cannot find a TIF API or part of the TVContract database api where I can hook into to mark a program as going to be recorded.

Does anyone know if this is possible? Or am I wasting my time?
