Can anyone explain why I need to "quit my pboard" like all the time just to make my copy and paste work?

I was lucky I found this article because I thought I forgot how to "paste" for a while and was highly concerned about it. I've got too many things to plagiarize and not enough time or patience to piecemeal them one by one.

How to Fix Copy & Paste Not Working, Stuck Clipboard on Mac OS

Additionally, this is only for one copy and one paste.... Is it even possible to (well first fix the pboard thing) enable an actual "cliboard" that stores multiples items copied indefinatley? Like how microsoft word and (most) my android devices (usually) do?

Like I'm over here on this sh%tty Mac and I can't even get one item to effectively copy and/or paste 80% of the time. Anyone know why? Also, if a clipboard exists, please tell me how to enable it.

Please for the love of god. Someone tell me how to fix my clipboards so I can copy and paste faster. Thanks.
