Swift: collectionview cells how read textfield values

I'm using a uistepper to specify how many uicollectionview cells should appear to the user, each cell contains several UITextField.
I'm having an issue in storing the UITextField values that the user enters. For instance, if the stepper value is 3, whenever I print the array that should store the UITextFields values it shows that it stored the textfield values of only the first 2 cells will the values of the third cell are empty strings.

To visualize the interface here is a link of the interface:
The Interface

Related code:

func collectionView(_ collectionView: UICollectionView, cellForItemAt indexPath: IndexPath) -> UICollectionViewCell
{

let cell = collectionView.dequeueReusableCell(withReuseIdentifier: "cell", for: indexPath) as! AddChildCell

var tempArray: [Int] = GlobaleVariables.MyArray // stores the stepper value

cell.numLabel.text = String(tempArray[indexPath.row])

//storing child info in global variable arrays:

GlobalVariables.ChildrenfirstNameArray[indexPath.row] = (cell.ChildFirstName?.text)!

GlobalVariables.ChildrenLastNameArray[indexPath.row] = cell.ChildLastName.text!

GlobalVariables.ChildrenGendersArray[indexPath.row] = cell.ChildGender.text!

GlobalVariables.ChildrenBirthdatesArray[indexPath.row] = cell.ChildBirthdate.text!

return cell
}

Other Solutions I Tried:
I tried using this function to store text field values it, however doesn't print the array values at all.

func textFieldDidEndEditing(textField: UITextField)
{
arrayOfAllTextFields.append(textField.text!)
print(arrayOfAllTextFields)
}

My Question:
How can I store textfield values of all 3 cells appropriately?
