Restrict dropping element at particular position in the react-sortable-hoc list
I am trying to display the list where I can choose an item from the list and drop it anywhere in the list.
I am using the react-sortable-hoc
library to display the list.
Here in my list, I want to restrict dropping area at a particular position. Say for example I don't want any element to be get dropped after the 4th element of my list.
I am simply returning when the index=4 in the method onSortEnd.
onSortEnd: ({oldIndex, newIndex, collection}) => {
if (newIndex === 4) return;
}
The above method restricting if the I drop element at the 4th position but it actually animating and creating an impression to the user that it can be dropped at this position. I want to stop this animation as well.
Can somebody suggest me how I can do this?
Thanks.
