Looking for a word that means “handmade” that starts with and “S” or a “C” word that sounds like...

-2

This word will be pertaining to all kinds of handmade crafts and will follow another "S" word in the business title. The other S words in the title are “Shack” and “stone’s throw”. This is for a children’s craft class where we will be using several different mediums, with different individualize classes every day. So I’d like something that encompasses all kinds of crafting.

  • This one is hard. Maybe you could think of some kind of hand-tool or handicraft technique that starts with a sibillant. Chiselled, sculpted, etc.

  • Is there a reason why self-made is inappropriate or inadequate? What is wrong with "homemade", "bespoke", "handcrafted" "tailor-made", "artisanal"?
