My art tablet is being read as a mouse

0

I use a Bamboo Art tablet (wired connection) model: CTL-470 and use Windows 10 with a touchscreen Acer Laptop, with the model: Aspire R3-471T
I have installed the latest bamboo tablet driver from the official website: https://www.wacom.com/en-us/support/product-support/drivers
My tablet is being read as a mouse, there is no pen pressure and scrolls like a mouse.

When I click on "Wacom Tablet Properties" I get the error message: "Your device is not connected to your computer If your device is plugged in, try using a different port" and even moving the tablet to every other usb port does not change the error message I receive.

I followed the instructions given from this thread:
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware/my-computer-thinks-my-drawing-tablet-is-a-mouse/ec267d2f-6c26-490f-bbe4-dad7e9a1932f
But it did not fix my problem. Please let me know what else I can do, I'm willing to post screenshots and provide more information if necessary, thank you!
