Could you please check my translation?
The task is to translate stating the mood and tense form of "can" or "be able"
1) No matter how much he tried to translate an article, he wasn't able to do that, because it was too difficult for him.
2) Only when the sun was up, i was able to find my way from the woods .
3) I was trying to repair my watch for so long, but i wasn't able finally.
4) Could you do me a favour, please?
5) He told me that if need arises he can lend me some money.
6) But for the bad weather we would have reached the camp already.
7) It was only in the evening when i was finally able to call home.
8) I couldn't but envy him - he could do everything.
9) If i could pull this book myself i wouldn't ask you.
10) I would have been able to take in this rule if you didn't explain it to me.
11) He completed this work so as a real professional could've done.

This seems like a “can you do my homework for me” question. But beyond that, I don’t even understand what it’s asking for. “translate stating the mood and tense of can or be able”?? translate to what? It’s already English! Well, some of them are almost English...
