Do we need to encode a json string with an extended ascii which is part of Multipart/form-data request?

0

I have a request with the following headers

Accept: application/json, text/javascript, /; q=0.01

Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate

Content-Type: multipart/form-data; boundary=----WebKitFormBoundarymLAGJyMzu3uiqD49

I need to send a file and a json. The JSON contains a character is part of the extended ascii -> Ø.

Do I need to encode the json? will the browser automatically encode it even if it's in the payload? If I encode the json, what headers do I need to add for that?
