I am able to execute lambda function via sqs but unable to get response of that lambda function from the same...

Desccription about the question



what i am trying to do is integrate sqs and lambda and this lamba function is returning a response that i cant get with same sqs?? is there any other way that i can do ?

  • It would help to have more background on what you are trying to achieve. SQS is (as the name suggests) a queue, it doesn't actually do any processing and would not expect a response. Are you trying to send the output of the lambda to another queue?

  • actually my lambda function return a string that i need to show on UI(i.e html page) so as my sqs is before lambda function it should return the value of lambda function, if this is not possible what is the best approach to achieve this
