Using a semicolon to separate me stating that I have two questions and the actual question ms?
Example
I do have a couple of questions at this time; is this proper for me to use a semicolon here, and if not, can you please tell me how I should write this sentence?
I do have a couple of questions at this time; will I be able to access this information immediately, and can I access it from my mobile device?
Or should I use a different layout/different punctuation altogether?
Thanks in advance.

I do have a couple of questions at this time. It's so polite (vs. I do have two questions), so I wonder why you want to follow that with a briefer pause (i.e., use a semicolon instead of a period). It seems to defeat your purpose, but that's only a matter of preference, I think. (Also, I would've used it instead of this before proper.)

BTW, you could also use a colon or em dash instead.
