secure_getenv() on macOS

is there a way to use secure_getenv() on macOS ?

My Linux compiler compiles the code without any issues.

However on macOS there is the following error:

main.cpp:31:26: error: use of undeclared identifier 'secure_getenv'
char* env_custom_path = secure_getenv("MY_ENV_VAR");

Are there any headers that I'm missing or what's the problem ?

          It's not a standard function, so it's simply not available on macOS.
